As mentioned above, we cannot utilize BlueStacks or Nox App Player to install OnStream APK on Linux. Follow the below two-part installation procedure to get OnStream up and running on Linux.
Step 1 > Get Shashlik or GenyMotion Android Emulator on Linux
You can download the Shashlik Android Emulator for Linux from here along with the installation instructions. For your convenience, we have provided installation instructions in brief below as well.
- Launch Command Prompt and download the Repo tool using the below commands.
$ mkdir ~/bin
$ PATH=~/bin:$PATH
- Utilize the below commands to get the Repo tool now.
$ curl https://storage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
- Next, you are required to perform a repo sync in a new directory. Below are the scripts for the same.
mkdir shashlik
cd shashlik
repo init -u https://github.com/shashlik/shashlik-manifest
repo sync
- Finalize the installation of the emulator with the below command scripts.
source build/envsetup.sh
make

Step 2 > Install the OnStream App on Linux
- Please download the latest OnStream APK from the link below on your Linux PC.
- Start the emulator that you installed.
- Simply, drag and drop the APK file on the interface of the emulator to start with the installation process.
- Follow simple on-screen installation instructions and wrap up the installation process.
